Listen up yall. illaska.com and DJ Reggie Ward is bringing to Alaska it's first Hip Hop Awards Show. Starting Friday night you will be able to start voting for your favorite artist in a number of categories on illaska.com. The fans get to pick who the winners are from "artist of the year" to "best rap album of all time", the voting will go on for two months. We will high-light artist every week on the air and on illaska.com. In November we will tally up all the votes and award the winners at the First Annual Alaska Hip Hop Awards Show. If your an Artist register and head to the music menu and upload (click here) your music so fans can here what your working with. Don't forget to upload a profile picture so people can put a face with the name.

Saturday, October 18, 2008 “The Bunker” out in Kincaid Park 4pm – 9pm

Juice is the longest running hip-hop competition in the state of Alaska. It has been going consecutively strong since 2003 and is proudly on its 6^th year. This event is supported by the community for the community. The event has brought various individuals and groups whom are actively involved in the local scene who jointly work together to make this event happen each year.
